Still feeling hungover from yesterday's opening... called Re-enactment, a group exhibition about retro and revival style today. Part of the exhibition was Bill Gentle, who takes lovely pictures. He has a project called Backyard Bill in which he photographs interesting people in their own personal style. But its no regular street-style thing, its much much nicer. Check out the website. If your in London, swing by the gallery and have a look. Details here.

Foxylady

Oh, the 70's...Makes me smile. Why aren't there any magazines like these for women anymore? With hot hairy hunks on the covers, "do you hate men" tests, fair game for manhunting... well, maybe not exactly like that, as silly articles like those can already be found in most fashion magazines. But it could be done so tastefully...maybe Vogue Hommes, but aimed at a female reader who loves men. Does it exist?

Velvet done by Ann Demeulemeester

Danielle Scutt Velvet shirt. I want one.

I love velvet jackets. My obsession started a few years ago, and now I have about 6 of them. Best place to find them is in vintage shops, as most of the ones you get on the high street just look a bit too... new... Or get one from Ann Demeulemeester, they are just so beautiful; my favorite velvet jacket was a gift from her.
